Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Actuarial Analyst located in Chennai. The Actuarial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing statistical data, developing financial models, and interpreting complex data sets. They will work closely with other departments to assess risks and support strategic decision-making processes. Daily tasks will include compiling and analyzing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders. The Actuarial Analyst will also collaborate with teams to design and implement new actuarial processes and calculations.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and Mathematics
  • Proficiency in Statistics and Data Analysis
  • Finance and Risk Management expertise
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Relevant computer software proficiency (e.g., Excel, SAS)
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
  • Actuarial certification exams passed (SOA, CAS, etc.) is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
