Business Analyst General Insurance (Motor)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis & Reporting:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of motor insurance products, market trends, and competitive landscape.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to track product performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Requirements Gathering:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, underwriters, and actuaries, to gather and document business requirements for new and existing motor insurance products.

  • Ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the motor insurance domain.

  • Recommend and implement solutions to enhance operational workflows and customer experience.

  • Project Management:

  • Lead or participate in projects related to motor insurance products, including product development, system enhancements, and regulatory compliance.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

  • Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay updated with industry regulations and ensure that motor insurance products and processes comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory submissions and audits.

  • Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout project lifecycles.

  • Provide regular updates and presentations to senior management on project status, performance metrics, and key findings.

  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with insurance industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to motor products.
