Job Title: Store Manager

Location: Rabale

Job Summary: The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store/warehouse, ensuring the smooth handling of inbound and outbound materials, maintaining inventory levels, and managing staff. This role involves close coordination with the production, procurement, and logistics teams to meet company objectives and maintain stock control.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management:

  2. Monitor and maintain optimum stock levels.

  3. Perform regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  4. Ensure timely reordering of materials based on stock minimum levels.

  5. Update and maintain accurate inventory records.

  6. Material Handling:

  7. Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products.

  8. Ensure that goods received are of the correct quantity, quality, and specifications.

  9. Manage the timely dispatch of goods as per schedules.

  10. Staff Management:

  11. Assign tasks to store staff and monitor their performance.

  12. Arrange labor for loading and unloading activities.

  13. Train staff on proper store procedures and safety protocols.

  14. Documentation and Reporting:

  15. Prepare and maintain documentation for inward/outward goods and materials.

  16. Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, dispatch, and other activities.

  17. Maintain packing lists and coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries.

  18. Coordination with Other Departments:

  19. Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to align store activities with company goals.

  20. Follow up with the production department on material requirements and schedules.

  21. Compliance and Safety:

  22. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

  23. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment.

  24. Implement and monitor proper handling, storage, and security protocols.

  25. Vendor Management:

  26. Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries and resolve any issues related to the quality or quantity of materials received.

  27. Conduct vendor assessments and maintain vendor performance records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in store/warehouse management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office tools.

Key Competencies:

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and compliance standards.
