Role & responsibilities

Production Management

  • Supervise CNC Milling and Turning operations to ensure timely production as

per schedule.

  • Allocate manpower and machine resources to optimize output.
  • Monitor shift-wise production targets and resolve bottlenecks.

Process & Quality Control

  • Review machining programs and tool paths for process optimization.
  • Ensure products meet dimensional and surface finish specifications.
  • Collaborate with QA/QC teams to address non-conformities and implement

corrective actions.

Machine & Tool Management

  • Oversee machine health and coordinate with maintenance for preventive and

breakdown maintenance.

  • Ensure the availability and proper selection of cutting tools and fixtures.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise machine operators and ensure adherence to work instructions and

safety protocols.

  • Train and mentor team members on CNC operations, programming basics,

and quality standards.

Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time, tool wear,

and scrap.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain production reports, shift logs, downtime analysis, and tool usage

records.

  • Coordinate with planning and inventory teams for material availability.

Key Skills & Competencies:


• Strong knowledge of CNC Milling and Turning machines (e.g., FANUC,

Siemens, Mazak, Haas)


• Understanding of G & M codes and basic programming/editing skills


• Knowledge of GD&T, machining parameters, and cutting tool selection


• Familiarity with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality systems


• Problem-solving and root cause analysis (RCA) skills


• Good communication and leadership abilities
