A deep and comprehensive understanding of current affairs and geopolitics is essential, enabling the applicant to craft articles that extend beyond surface-level information.The ideal candidate must have the ability to write news stories with depth, clarity, and precision, ensuring that each piece is both a compelling read as well as rich in context. The role demands a keen eye for detail, a commitment to factual correctness, and the capability to elevate news writing beyond routine headlines, making complex developments accessible and impactful for a wide digital news audience.About the Role : The role requires exceptional command over the English language, passion and knowledge of current affairs, strong editing and rewriting skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy, clarity, and perspective in digital news content.Responsibilities :Edit and refine news copies for clarity, coherence, and grammatical accuracy.Write and refine headlines that are engaging, impactful, and SEO-friendly.Ensure factual accuracy, correct sourcing, and proper contextualization of stories.Write to visuals and craft narratives that enhance digital storytelling.Work under tight deadlines to ensure breaking news is reported accurately and quickly.Fact-check content rigorously, ensuring all published material adheres to the highest editorial standards.Collaborate with reporters, anchors, and other newsroom staff to refine scripts and reports.Adapt content to suit digital platforms, ensuring maximum readability and engagement.Required Skills :Strong editing, rewriting, and contextual writing abilities.Excellent command over English grammar, punctuation, and news structure.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure newsroom environment.Prior experience in digital journalism or news editing is strongly preferred.** Only candidates who can join immediately and are comfortable with onsite work at our office in Sector 158, Noida should apply.
