Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and APIs using Node.js and related frameworks.


You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Develop server-side applications and APIs using Node.js and related frameworks such as Express.js.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Design and implement data storage solutions using databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability, considering factors such as response time, throughput, and resource utilization.

- Implement security measures to protect against common vulnerabilities such as cross-site scripting (XSS), cross-site request forgery (CSRF), and SQL injection.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

- Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure robustness and reliability of server-side code.

- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment and monitoring processes using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Prometheus.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Node.js developments, tools, and trends, and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, providing input on technical feasibility, effort estimation, and project timelines.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or Backend Developer, with at least 2 years of experience in developing server-side applications and APIs using Node.js.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as ES6/ES7.

- Experience with web application frameworks such as Express.js.

- Proficiency in asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and handling of concurrency in Node.js.

- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and code collaboration platforms like GitHub or GitLab.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a strong attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, or session-based authentication.

-Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks like React.js or Angular.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities is a bonus
