Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer to join our team. As a Senior Node.js Developer, you will lead the development of server-side applications, APIs, and microservices using Node.js. You will collaborate closely with our engineering, product, and design teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that meet our business objectives.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of server-side applications and APIs using Node.js.

- Architect scalable and maintainable solutions to support our business requirements.

- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend functionality.

- Design and optimize database schemas and queries for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

- Optimize server-side applications for performance, responsiveness, and security.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including user authentication, permissions, and access controls.

- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment and monitoring processes.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Node.js developments, tools, and trends, and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in best practices, coding techniques, and project execution.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer, with at least 5 years of experience in developing server-side applications and APIs using Node.js.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks.

- Experience with web application frameworks such as Express.js.

- Proficiency in asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and handling of concurrency in Node.js.

- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and code collaboration platforms.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a strong attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
