Overview :

The Node.js Developer plays a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions.

They are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable and reliable applications using Node.js and related technologies.

This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation and performance of various web applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Designing and developing scalable backend services using Node.js

- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

- Implementing and managing RESTful APIs

- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability

- Implementing security and data protection

- Writing clean, well-documented code

- Managing and maintaining databases (SQL and NoSQL)

- Testing and debugging applications

- Deploying applications and performing troubleshooting

- Monitoring and improving application performance

- Staying updated on emerging technologies in the Node.js ecosystem

- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

- Contributing to the open-source community and company standards

- Working on multiple projects simultaneously

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role

- Proficiency in JavaScript and its frameworks/libraries

- Experience with Express.js and other Node.js frameworks

- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks

- Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL databases

- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git

- Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS

- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization

- Good understanding of server-side templating languages

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment

- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines

- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
