Manager Logistics

Position: Manager(Logistic) JobDescription: Therole is accountable for on time delivery of Finished Goods to theCustomer with no damage and zero demurrage. This job is alsoresponsible for transporting Raw material to Silvassa and Talojausing Companys transport. Responsible to ensure no leakage orspillage during transporting of liquid material to the designatedcustomer place. Liaising with Suppliers Vendors Customers andCustom s Bonding Officials. Logistics transportation andmaintenance ofFleet.
Education : Graduation / Post Graduation in anyStream/MBA in SCM (Preferable)Experience :0510 years Experience with Petro chemical Industry in SCM functionManager Logistics : upto10.00LPA (LocationSilvassa) Industry: Bulk Chemical/Bulk liquid.Logistics Vehicle OperationsManagement FM & RM

• Provide tankers/trucks to the plantas per dispatch order received from Local Sales department Trackall dispatches and vehicles available for loading (includingmaintenance) & report to management on daily basis.
• Ensure all received tankers are cleannonrusted dry odourless painted inside out before loading ofmaterial.
• Ensure unloading activity onCustomer part is completed with 36 hours of TAT & beyondTAT hours put Detention charges.
• Coordinatewith plant and Local Sales for arrangement for road permits in caserequired.
• Ensure to arrange transport forinbound and outbound logistics and coordinate with Vendors andprepare contracts for Vendors.
• Ensure all HOBCvehicle to be operational at all time. For repairing of HOBCvehicles approval is mandatory from HO.
• Ensureroute freight loading planning and vehicle trip expense and fundrequirement etc. fix of route expense for vehicle on differentroute.
• Ensure repairing charges tanker wisetyre stock and tyre used (kilometres) is maintained updated timelyto HO.

LogisticsManagement : Storage house Operations for RM& FM

• Monitor the Storagehouse stock on a daily basis by reviewing daily stock report withTally ERP. Analyse and resolve any discrepancies in the same.
• Monitor the utilization of Storage house andspace management for goods and resolve any problem with respect tospace plan in Storage tanks.
• Monitor materialflow to ensure inventory is maintained at optimum level.
• Develop manpower and monitor their utilizationfor achieving maximum efficiency.
• Identifybetter techniques for storage and monitor its implementation forthe smooth traceability of goods.

LogisticsManagement : Dispatch of Finish Goods

• Review the picklist generated fromthe system as per requisition.
• Review thegoods selected and kept aside for issuance with the pick list.
• Coordination with Sales team for gettingdispatch schedule for arranging tankers trucks trailers.

LogisticsManagement : Return Goods Operations

• Review and sign off the inter memospacking lists and cover notes for sales returngoods.
• Ensure timely vehicle registrationrenewal of Road Tax National Permits Fitness Certificate Insuranceand PUC of all vehicles.
• Ensure vehiclechecking and monitoring on regular basis to avoid theft andpilferages.
• Monitor loading/fare weight iswithin 25kg in Cabin Area.
• Ensure checklist isfilled and signed by concerned driver QC Manager Docks ManagerSurveyor Sr. Manager (Production) Shiftin charge and nominatedSecurity Personnel before consignment dispatched.

Logistics: EXIM Management Dock Management

• Place all Tankers Vessels at KandlaHazira and send it to Silvasaa Kherdi.
• Prepareand track the receipt and track of all the received material andmovement in the storage house.
• Ensure toreport to Concerned HOD in case of any changes in road direction.
• Handling of import/export movement at MumbaiJNPT Kandla Hazira.
• Arranging the BargesStorages Storages tanks prior to arrival of imports.
• Arrange trucks trailers timely for Cargomovements and liaising with customs Import authorities for requiredpermission.
• Liaising with Customs ClearanceAgents Transportation Surveyor Barges Operators and PortAuthorities for smooth operations.
• Checkonreceipts of base oil into barges and transportation till deliveryto plants.

Financeand Valuation of Stock Take

• Monitor &review monthly stock taking & reconciliation.
• In case of any discrepancies take correctiveactions.

Logistics :Monthly MIS/Daily

• List of Raw materialquantity and location Finished Goods Transportation Date &Quantity & Customers Vehicle Documentation &Renewal details.
• Analyse and submit of In/Outbound vehicle and dispatch report HOBC garage and LogisticsOperations report daily to HO.
