Engineer PCT  

POSITION PURPOSE:

Leads digitalization and process control project according to site requirements, Responsible for programming, configuration, field debugging, project installation guidance and field user training, and solve field emergent problems. Assure automatization and digitalization of the site to satisfy requirements of the site management and keep automatization/digitalization advancement all time. Be responsible for DCS & PLC & SIS and other digitalization system running well, to keep the production in good condition. Keeping align and working close with experts in headquarter to develop and execute the latest automation/ digitalization /PCT standard in site. Responsible for overall manufacturing IT security and risk management.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the process control technology (especially Siemens systems) and automation equipment management (Ensure system health, lifecycle management, etc.). Responsible for the overall developing, execution, commissioning, upgrade and qualification of production automation/PCT infrastructure and other digitization projects. This might include future digitalization platforms, like DCS, MES, SCADA, MIS/MES, Data Historian (PIC), logistics order information systems, LIMS, PAT etc. Guide PCT technician to take the troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of production automation/PCT/IT related system, to perform in-depth technical analysis on failure, establish and improve the fault prevention system. Develop and document best practices and standards in collaboration with global and local stakeholders. Leads manufacturing IT projects implementation and daily maintenance for manufacturing IT systems. Acquisition, transfer and provision of data from production plants into the Bayer network using interfaces such as OPC UA, MQTT, etc. Supports the implementation of information security procedures at the site. Participate in a digital community and contribute to strategic discussions by providing technology expertise and best practices. Take part in E/I management work and give technical support. He will also be responsible to take over all Engineering responsibilities of site. He will also be accountable for site engineering technical discussion.

WHO YOU ARE:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or above, in Instrumentation and control /major in computer science or Automation or related

Experience:

 3~5 years working experience in automation and PCT area

Knowledge & Skills:

Familiar with IT basic knowledges which is not limited to server/client, network, LAN and others Familiar with Siemens PCS 7 programming and commission, proficient in PLC programming language, industrial communication protocol, Field instruments installation, commissioning and calibration, AutoCAD and office software. Understanding of the Bayer network architecture under consideration of the Bayer Blueprint. Experience in project management. With clear logistic and strong ability to handle complexity and drive changes Fluent communication skill in English Basic knowledge of variable frequency drives , Smart MCC ,Servo drives and motors, Robotics
