Job Description
Job Required:

➢ Manage the Financial Accounting including Month end journals and processes.

➢ Payroll and related tasks

➢ Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASs)

and Financial Reporting Directions (FRDs) issued and assist in the preparation of monthly financial

Board reports.

➢ Preparation of monthly financial data for the Department of Treasury and Finance.

➢ Manage tax compliance related tasks

➢ Balance sheet reconciliation related tasks to perform ensuring that data in the balance sheet

complies with Australian Accounting Standards.

➢ Assist team leader/ASM to Monitor accounting and reporting developments and requirements for the organization.

➢ Prepare financial viability assessments relating to prospective suppliers, lease and license holders.

➢ Assist the Team Leader as required.

➢ Assist team leader in developing systems and processes to ensure standardization in the provision of financial accounting.

➢ Oversee and ensure delivery on month-end duties such as journal processing and interfaces.



Requirements


Job Required

 • 3+ years of accounting experience with small / medium businesses

 • Proven experience in bookkeeping, finalization of statements and tax return preparation

 • Conversant with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook

 • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred

• Using cloud accounting solutions including Xero preferred,

• Knowledge of the Australian Accounting and Taxation process is preferable
Bachelor's degree in Commerce
PG: MBA/PGDM in Finance, CS in Any Specialization, M. Com in Commerce, ICWA (CMA) in Any
Specialization, CA in Any Specialization
