As the HR Generalist (CWR), you will promote employee engagement and act as a liaison between employees and management to foster a positive employee relations atmosphere. Type : Contractual (CWR)

Location : Hyderabad (on-site)

Timing : 12 PM – 9 PM (Pick-Up & Drop facility will be provided by the company)


Responsibilities:


Strategic Initiatives

  • Identify business goals / objectives and align the training and development programs to meet the key business objectives.
  • Career development and succession planning: Select and create team members to develop to fill critical roles.
  • Proactively define retention strategy to mitigate future risk.
  • Work closely with compensation & benefits, Talent Acquisition and HR Leadership team to ensure key risks are understood and mitigated.


Administrative Initiatives

  • Manage all aspects of the HR function, including administration, legal compliance, policy/procedure enforcement, benefits, compensation, hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, retention and termination.
  • Administer HR policies and programs to ensure compliance in staffing and recruitment, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, time and attendance record keeping, and personnel records administration.
  • Investigate a variety of employee-related issues, incidents, and complaints; resolve disputes and recommend appropriate/remedial actions.


Employee Engagement

  • Wellness and engagement framework: Work closely with the business and team managers to create an agile employee wellness and engagement framework.
  • Work closely with leads, leaders, and managers to work on employee career development plans and roll them out.
  • Ensure onboarding process is smooth and constant and frequent improvements are undertaken.
  • Partner with business to drive high scores on “employee surveys” and robust action planning.


Coaching / Consulting Business Leaders

  • Conduct weekly/bi-weekly meetings with leaders, understand and update any challenges, provide HR advice where necessary.
  • Provide guidance on creation and implementation of the HR policies.
  • Keep leaders posted about the business, team, hiring and any other upcoming / forced risks.


Team Development

  • Provide managers with performance management guidelines, regularly provide people managers and business leaders with guidelines on coaching, mentoring, career planning and partnering.
  • Help people managers work with organizations, people and HR issues and provide all necessary assistance.


Culture / Organization Values

  • Work with business leaders, people managers to ensure cultural values and related initiatives are driven and supported.
  • Work closely with HR Teams / Business leaders on areas including diversity, inclusion and talent management.


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree
  • 3-7 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Experience in employee relations, policy and procedure administration, recruiting and staffing, HRIS and timekeeping systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Proven track record and increasing levels of responsibility in the HR field

  • Ability to provide management with proactive ideas on creating and maintaining a positive employee relations climate
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels in the organization
  • Experience building strong partnerships with leadership
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, travel 5-10% of the time on need basis
