Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a BARC Level 2 RSO (Radiation Safety Officer) located in Tirupati Urban. The BARC Level 2 RSO will be responsible for implementing radiation safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting safety audits, and maintaining radiation equipment. Day-to-day tasks will include monitoring radiation levels, maintaining records, training staff on safety protocols, and liaising with regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Must possess qualifications as a certified BARC Level 2 Radiation Safety Officer
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices and regulations
- Experience in conducting safety audits and radiation monitoring
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
- Effective communication and training skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a radiation safety program
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Physics, Engineering, or Environmental Science
