Job Overview:
The Project Team Lead will oversee the implementation of the Dementia Caregiving Initiative in Mumbai. This role requires strong managerial and operational skills to ensure smooth project delivery, staff supervision, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with timelines and budgets. The position is best suited for professionals with prior experience in health or social development projects, who are motivated to strengthen dementia caregiving support systems in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the dementia project's strategy and objectives.
- Ensure project activities are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Oversee the quality and effectiveness of caregivers training sessions in alignment with certified curriculum developed by UWM.
- Supervise, guide, and mentor the project team to ensure effective service delivery.
- Document training outcomes, maintain records of participants, and submit regular progress reports.
- Ensure training aligns with the certified curriculum developed by UWM.
- Build and manage partnerships with NGOs, hospitals, and local organizations.
- Coordinate with consultants, trainers, and subject experts to strengthen programme delivery.
- Oversee mobilisation and placement of candidates enrolled in Dementia Caregiving initiative
- Track project progress, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure timely reporting.
Profile Requisites:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Development Studies, Psychology, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in project management (preferably health, geriatric, or community-based programs).
- At least 2–3 years in a team leadership/managerial role.
- Experience in stakeholder coordination and donor reporting.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organizational and operational planning abilities.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi (preferred).
- Budgeting and financial monitoring experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
- Willingness to travel to field sites when required.
Remuneration: Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit; the consultancy fees range is 30000 to 45000 per month.
