Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Navi Mumbai
About the Role: Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and application deployment projects within the bank's premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and providing regular updates to senior management. This role requires a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and regulatory compliance within a banking environment.
What You'd Do?
Project Planning & Execution:
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Manage the deployment of infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage) and enterprise banking applications.
Oversee UAT, production readiness, and go-live activities.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with various internal teams (IT, Operations, Security, Business Units) and external vendors/partners.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication.
Organize and facilitate cadence calls, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
Reporting & Communication:
Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
Prepare and present project dashboards, status reports, and documentation.
Escalate critical issues in a timely manner and ensure resolution.
Governance & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to the bank's project governance frameworks and change management processes.
Maintain compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with the InfoSec and Risk teams during deployment.
What You'd Have?
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred.
Experience: 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in infrastructure or application deployment within the banking or financial sector.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, databases), enterprise applications, cloud/hybrid environments, and deployment methodologies.
Tools: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow).
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Others: Experience in regulated environments and familiarity with data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
