Designation : Engineer II - Technology Support

Responsibilities :

• Design, install and configure internal and servers, network devices and firewalls.
• Proactively manage and maintain server, network, and firewall systems.
• Administer and support core Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, and VMware technologies.
• Monitor system performance, IT system operations and storage utilization.
• Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment.
• Define and document best practices and support procedures.
• Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
• Assist with hardware, firewall and software vendor evaluation, recommendation, and negotiations.
• Plan and execute necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth.
• Mentor team members and educate users.

Qualification : Relevant Degree or Diploma in Information Systems or Information Technology.

Relevant Experience : 6+ years of IT system administration experience.

Desired Skills & Characteristics :

• Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professional CCNA/ CCNP.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016), LINUX/UNIX.
• Experienced in Firewall configuration.
• Experienced in IT Support/Desktop administration.
• Experience in Windows/AD/DNS/DHCP/WSUS/Windows backup.
• Experience in any endpoint protection administration.
• Extensive experience with MAC systems, vendor management and office administration.
• Experience in Office 365, JIRA, Confluence, administration.
• Experience in Azure/AWS administration.
• Strong IT acumen related to ERP systems and processes.
• A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking.
• Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration.
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issues.
• Should have worked in an ISO 27001 Environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
