Description
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Key Account Manager for an exciting opportunity in the exponentially growing EV space.
The person should be a self-starter, result-oriented individual responsible for new business acquisitions and order book growth. As a KAM, your core responsibility shall be, but not limited to, identifying and securing new business opportunities within the account (Upselling), building strong relationships with key clients, hustling and getting things done through relationships and expanding Maxwell’s market share. This experience will provide you an opportunity to build and manage direct relationships with VP’s and managers of automotive OEMs and Battery Pack Manufacturers to help accelerate their transition to electric mobility.
Responsibilities
- Manage strategic key accounts by collaborating with internal & external stakeholders and cross-functional teams (VPs, Quality, Procurement, Finance, R&D, SCM, etc.) for smooth functioning of the SOP customers.
- Develop and sustain connects from working to CXO levels. Be the ‘customer voice’ in the organization.
- Establish a sustained sales pipeline, ensure profitability by maintaining minimum gross margins and achieve business targets via timely execution of purchase orders for sustainable and consistent growth. Key KPI’s: Revenue, sales growth, gross margin and upselling.
- Work collaboratively with Supply Chain and Operations teams to provide accurate sales data and forecasts in a timely manner for demand planning and delivery.
- Provide timely and accurate forecast data and volumes from customers.
- Create and implement a customer engagement plan - including but not limited to driving steering committee meetings with customer
- Act as a lead for all commercial negotiations and recoveries for key accounts with Heads/VP’s/CXO’s.
- Manage and overlook regular RM and Forex amendments, ECN impact recovery, and obsolescence recovery with zero impact.
- Prepare high-quality MIS reports for the leadership, including business loss analysis, TGR/TGW, budgets, forecasts, and other key information for strategic planning.
- Work alongside Customer Support and Customer Success teams to ensure after-sales service for all series production businesses including recording, tracking, and verification of potential customer claims.
- Manage QMS for Sales/Biz Dev function as per ISO & IATF requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in B2B sales (Automotive experience preferred)
- Education: BE/BTech (electronics/electrical engineering preferred)
- Good presentation and communication skills, with a good grasp of English & Hindi.
- Self-starter, number, and details oriented with an analytical mindset and approach towards problem-solving.
- Ability to manage business accounts using the right CRM, ERP, and relevant tools.
- Location: Mumbai/Bangalore/Delhi
