About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Safety Engineer
to join our team for our prestigious
client
in Ahmedabad. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining all safety measures to ensure a safe working environment at our high-rise construction site.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety systems, procedures, and protocols for the tall building project.
- Inspect and approve work areas, gondolas, scaffolding, and staging equipment for safety compliance.
- Ensure labor safety SOPs are established, communicated, and followed at all times.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Provide training, awareness sessions, and safety drills for site workers and staff.
- Investigate accidents/incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and external agencies to maintain compliance with legal and regulatory safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Engineering with specialization in Safety, Civil, or related field.
- Proven experience in tall building/high-rise construction safety protocols.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, systems, and statutory requirements.
- Ability to handle emergencies and implement corrective actions effectively.
