Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.Job PurposeTo handle foreign inward remittances received by DBS for various customersKey AccountabilitiesTo ensure inward remittances are credited basis FEMA regulationCreation of relateds FIRC and IRMJob Duties & ResponsibilitiesDaily processing of FCY inwardsTo prepare multiple reports like R-return, Cross Border remittance report and DRI report etcResponsible for multiple reconciliations.To follow up with respective stakeholders to process the payment smoothly.Fair Understanding of financial servicesUnderstanding on Indian banking operationsHandling queries & adhoc requestsRequired ExperienceUpto 2 years in relevant field.Candidate should aware about basic FEMA guidelinesKnowledge about reporting of applicable transactions under LRS & NRO.Knowledge about other remittance facilities / miscellaneous remittances.Education / Preferred QualificationsMinimum Graduation (BCom/ BAF)Core CompetenciesKnowledge of banking operations within cross border remittancesTechnical CompetenciesGood Excel knowledgeClearance of FEDAI examination would be an added advantageWork RelationshipRelationship ManagersCompliance and Audit stakeholdersInternal reconciliation teamDBS India - Culture & BehaviorsDBS is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and their opinions count.
