RBI Liaison for ODI/FDI/ECBKey ResponsibilitiesExpert knowledge and awareness of trade finance products, and FEMA regulations relating to Current account and Capital account rulesKnowledge of regulations RBI, PMLA, OFAC, FATFAdept at working with spreadsheets including data analysisGood interpersonal skills - ability to coordinate as well as drive results telephonically across various teams.Good presentation skills to clearly outline the plan and performanceBasic market knowledge of key competition in the market and individual strengths in product offerings across sectors.Train and create adequate backup, systemic control and process for monitoringRequirementsHands-on experience in processing Trade and Cash Transactions in Centralised OperationsExcellent regulatory and compliance knowledgeClient orientation and to do attitudeLarge teams managementInteraction with internal, RBI Auditors & other regulatory agencies , FEDAI etc.To ensure adequate & timely closure of customer complaintsAnalyse root cause of customer dissatisfaction and remedial measure thereonCompliance to audit reports are submitted in time and ensure exception highlighted in audit reports are not repeatedTo ensure that all the required reporting to RBI are done in time & in accurate mannerOperational procedures and processes to be reviewed at regular intervals to all changes in the regulations have been incorporated and branches are complying with all the statutory requirementsTaking requisite steps towards motivating/providing career progression for deserving candidatesEnsure proper onboard training for new joiners. Regularly nominating old and new staff for functional and specialized training programs. Updating latest RBI circular or notifications or FEMA guidelines during staff training sessions.Job rotation on periodic basis, to create fungible resource and provide support to handle spurt in volumesRegular feedback to staff members on their performance and motivate them to perform better in their current rolePossibility of automation is explored and is raised to Technology Team to ensure minimum inputting errors and faster txn processing in operationsThe objective is to improve the service deliverance time and score over the competitorsProviding suggestions inperiodic reviews to ensure that we have best market practice in the businessAssessment of factors impacting operations adversely in the daily processingThis includes monitoring of the processes, identifying deviation and checking documentation for various services offered under Cash productCapital AccountsResponsible for capital account transactions and Reporting to RBI of FEMA related transactions.Preparing and reviewing applications for approval route transactions, liaising with RBI for obtaining approvals and ratification of pending cases.Ensure adherence of regulatory guidelines, compliances and assisting in process improvement or changes.Advising corporate and retail customers/ RMs on FEMA guidelines.Guidance and advice to branches and customersTo manage related reportings and other compliances on all Capital account transactions.Manage key stakeholder such as BU, Compliance, Product etc. relationships with other units for smooth processing of various capital account transactions.
