Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial records and operations for our manufacturing unit. The role will cover accounting, billing, cost analysis, budgeting, inventory valuation, and compliance with financial regulations relevant to a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Billing & Invoicing
- Prepare and issue sales invoices accurately and on time.
- Verify purchase bills with purchase orders and goods received notes.
- Maintain billing records, reconcile customer accounts, and follow up on payments.
- Ensure GST and other statutory requirements are correctly applied in invoices.
2. Cost Accounting & Analysis
- Maintain and update cost records for raw materials, labor, and overheads.
- Conduct cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare monthly cost of goods manufactured (COGM) and cost of goods sold (COGS) reports.
3. Inventory & Fixed Asset Management
- Track raw material, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods inventory.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain fixed asset register and monitor depreciation.
4. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Verify purchase invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Monitor receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
5. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor actual vs. budgeted performance and report variances.
6. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Support internal and external audits.
7. ERP/Software Management
- Use accounting software/ERP (Busy) for billing and financial data.
- Generate financial and operational reports as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, CMA preferred).
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial accounting with billing exposure.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, billing, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Familiarity with process costing and billing compliance.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.
