Job Description of Export Officer or Executive
Department : Export
Experience- 4 to 5 years of experience in Export documentation, logistics, back up co-ordination in FMCG, Pharma industry
Preferably Male candidate
Location: - Thane
Qualification Criteria
GRADUATION (B. Com / B. Sc.) with desirable any additional courses in Export
Job Responsibilities: -
1. Inter-departmental co-ordination for export order execution - co-ordination with Export sales team at head office and in countries, production, logistics, accounts, finance etc
2. Complete back up support of Export sales team
3. The documentation executive is responsible for developing document control systems and filing, referencing, and tracking documents. He/she will need to monitor any changes in regulation and implement necessary changes in the document control system
4. Logistics related activities preparing pre-shipment and post-shipment documents, co-ordination with CHA for BL and other documents, if needed visit port to check actual stuffing of container, tracking shipment, co-ordination for COO
5. Finance related activities Follow up and co-ordination with buyer for payment, Co-ordination with corresponding banks for payment receipt, Inter-department Co-ordination with finance, accounts and profitability departments for export finance activities, Ensure timely delivery of LC and other documents to banks
6. Sales support - Online data search for prospective buyers in target countries, preparing data base and maintaining the same. If needed, visit Export exhibitions and conferences.
7. Obtaining and maintaining membership of various export bodies like FIEO, TPCI, Bombay Chamber of commerce, MCCIA etc.
8. Desirable candidates will have exposure to SAP SAP entry of export orders, shipments, documents etc.
9. Monitoring ECGC, Drawback credits
10. Maintenance of export documents, files, records
