GENERAL SUMMARY:
Archer is the industry-leading vendor of enterprise software for governance, riskmanagement, and compliance (GRC). Over a thousand customers worldwide harness theArcher GRC platform and its comprehensive suite of solutions to automate the complianceprocess, meet their risk objectives, and optimize business. More Info are looking for an Engineering leader with 12+ years of experience of softwaredevelopment building enterprise scale distributed systems including at least 4+ years ofexperience as a people manager. This individual also needs to have significant hands-ondevelopment experience building web applications based on .NET and React. This individualneeds to have experience leading AWS Cloud or SaaS applications development,deployment and operations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Builds strong full stack teams that deliver business value and top-notch quality.Leads the software development, deployment, operations and customer requests for SaaSproducts.Creates and drives work plans and provides hands-on technical direction to engineersexecuting against those plans and deliver large scale projects with high quality.Interfaces with senior management and cross-functional leadership to report on projectstatus and program milestonesContribute to all aspects of Software Development by being introducing best practices andachieve greater productivity and quality.Collaborates frequently with the User experience, Product Management and theArchitecture team to drive the next generation User Interface for the product.Ability and experience in formal supervision, coaching, mentoring, and guidance. Providesfeedback to peers and supervisors.Identifies and facilitates training and development opportunities for staff to enhanceknowledge and expertise, keeping up with the rapidly changing technology used within thecompany and the overall industry. Prepares and conducts performance reviews and assistsin career development plans for staff.Experience in hiring and retaining high performing individual contributors.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 12+ years of experience with building enterprise scale, large scale distributedsystems including at least 4+ years of experience as a people manager.• Strong experience building and delivering SaaS based web applications.• Prior experience on building and deploying applications on AWS• Significant hands-on development experience building enterprise web applicationsusing established UI frameworks using React/Angular frameworks and backend API usingNET or .NET Core.• Proven track record of delivering high quality enterprise software products through geographically distributed teams operating in fast-paced dynamic environment.• Demonstrated experience driving projects with an execution mindset.• Ability to communicate with customers and handle customer escalations as needed• Ability to hire, develop and retain high performers.• Ability to influence others, troubleshoot and guide team during critical projectdecision points to achieve results.• Good communication and Influential skills
