Job Description: Government Sales Manager (Technology & Agriculture Sales | 10-15 Years of Experience)

Position Overview:

We are hiring a highly experienced and proactive Government Sales Manager to drive business growth and ensure client retention within the government sector. This role involves liaising with government departments, managing strategic client relationships, and leading business development in technology and agriculture sales for innovative and impactful projects.

Role Details:

  • Educational Background:
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 10-15 years of experience in government sales, business development, or client relationship management.
  • Proven expertise in handling large-scale government projects and tendering processes, with a focus on technology and agriculture sales .

Roles and Responsibilities:

Government Relations & Sales:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients and departments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to government stakeholders, ensuring long-term engagement.

Liaison with Authorities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for bureaucrats and other government representatives, ensuring seamless communication and relationship management.

Business Development:

  • Drive the complete business cycle, from identifying opportunities to client demonstrations, presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Lead projects such as Animatronics Projects, High-Tech Interpretation Parks, Scientific Galleries, and Museums, as well as technology and agriculture-based solutions.

Technology and Agriculture Sales:

  • Identify and implement innovative technology solutions (e.g., IoT, automation) and agriculture solutions (e.g., smart farming tools, irrigation technologies) to meet government requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions align with client needs and government initiatives.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the execution of government projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

Pre-Bid Meetings & Presentations:

  • Attend pre-bidding meetings, represent the company, and deliver impactful presentations to stakeholders.

Client Satisfaction:

  • Resolve client concerns promptly and uphold the company’s positive brand image.

Revenue Maximization:

  • Focus on achieving consistent revenue growth through strategic sales and timely execution.

Tendering Process:

  • Lead and manage government tender submissions, ensuring compliance with guidelines and timelines.

Solution Upselling:

  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional solutions aligned with client needs and company offerings.

  • Experience: Demonstrated success in technology and agriculture government sales and a strong understanding of government ecosystems.
