About the role In this newly-created role reporting to the Head of Enterprise Compliance, you will develop, maintain and deliver frameworks and strategies to support both policy and conflicts management, with the objective of ensuring Cbus meets all of our regulatory, compliance and legal obligations.   This will include: Owning and managing a structure for policy governance that aligns with regulatory obligations and the risk taxonomy Develop and deliver an approach to oversight and monitoring of compliance with the policy framework, including a roadmap for uplift Driving maturity in policy & conflicts processes and culture across the Fund Maintenance and continuous improvement of the conflicts management policy and processes Partnering with the Risk Advisory team to ensure first-line adherence to policy You’ll also build and lead a small team to support the delivery and ongoing maintenance of governance across the Fund. If you enjoy writing and maintaining policies and procedures, this could be your chance to shine  Experience and Qualifications You’ll bring: Proven experience in policy, governance or regulatory compliance Exceptional written skills and attention to detail In-depth understanding of compliance management policies and requirements, and experience embedding frameworks Experience in leading, developing and coaching high-performing teams The ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation Experience in superannuation or financial services would be an advantage, but is not essential.  Key to your success will be your expertise in policy governance and conflicts management and your ability to create and embed compliant, accessible and meaningful policy.
