Job Description
Texas Brewery is hiring a Lead Brewer & Plant Manager that will be responsible for monitoring the overall process to ensure daily completion of tasks integral to the operation and overall performance of the Brewery. The Lead Brewer must have experience to complete all tasks in the brewing, blending, kitting, sanitation, quality and maintenance areas..
As a Lead Brewer & Plant Manager, Your Responsibilities Will Include
Ensure continuous operation of process equipment through process monitoring and troubleshooting.
Ensure quality inspection of product are being completed per the Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensure and certifies completion of inventory checks, quality inspections, sanitation requirements, batch and blending production, and basic maintenance tasks.
Complete daily and weekly tasks to ensure sustained and repeatable quality and overall performance results.
Ensure cross-training of team members, improve use of all available resources, and overall team proficiency.
Drive preventative and routine operator maintenance program including operator checks and lubrication of machinery and equipment.
drive all Plant and Safety policies and procedures within the Brewery, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as well as adhering to Good Manufacturing practices. Ensure team members are accountable to same.
Successfully communicate process changes to the operations team members and management through various forms of daily communication (shift handover meeting, daily production meetings, email, action logs, work orders, etc.).
Qualified Candidates Will Have
Certification or higher within in a technical field
2+ years of supervisory / leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
3+ years of Brewing/beverage experience in a production setting
The Lead Brewer & Plant Manager position is well-suited for you if you have:
Excellent use of computer and software skills such as MS office, excel, word, and email
Reliable and punctual - must adhere to attendance and absenteeism policy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work while multitasking.
Have the shown ability to develop, motivate, and empower employees while encouraging an environment that promotes partnership and collaboration.
