Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Sales and Business Development at Sambandh Ventures located in Ahmedabad. The role involves overseeing and leading the sales and business development teams, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to drive business growth


  • Leading teams: Motivating and ensuring the effectiveness of sales teams 
  • Setting targets: Setting sales targets and monitoring performance 
  • Analyzing trends: Analyzing market trends to identify growth opportunities 
  • Developing plans: Planning sales and marketing policies and plans 
  • Collaborating: Collaborating with marketing teams to penetrate key markets 
  • Building relationships: Building and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, and other companies 
  • Developing products: Helping develop new products and services using market research 
  • Identifying markets: Identifying new target markets 
  • Reporting: Analyzing and reporting on advertising and marketing campaigns


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales and business development
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development within the Sales & Marketing
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Ability to travel as needed


Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred
