Reports to – HR Director-India

Location- Mumbai (Goregaon East)

Candidate should be open to travel.


Job Purpose:

This position is responsible to design and lead learning & development strategy and execution. This position is responsible to work closely with global L&D team and manage implementation of global talent development programs. The role includes designing content, embracing latest technology, tools, and processes to support the L&D agenda. This position is responsible for design and development of key initiatives aligned to build talent to facilitate business growth and therefore contribute towards client value creation. This role is responsible to collaborate with the HR teams in the country and provide guidance to implement the L&D strategy in the country.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and draw up the L&D Blueprint for the organization
  • Lead a team of experts to build and implement global and local L&D strategy across all business and segments
  • Partner with global L&D team, HR organization and segment leads to facilitate delivery of the L&D strategy and thus add value to our businesses
  • Work closely with Global L&D team to align with key talent development initiatives for mid – senior level leaders. To partner in design and development of global initiatives, projects, participate in testing and integration of talent development projects
  • Ensure compliance to all global mandatory learnings for all employees
  • Create an environment that promotes integrity, transparency, trust, and meritocracy
  • Foster the Sodexo culture in compliance with the Group’s core values (service spirit, team spirit, spirit of progress) and its ethical principles (trust, respect for people, transparency, and business integrity
  • Drive the Global & Local L&D strategy, facilitate delivery of talent development and leadership development interventions
  • Build and design content as per business and HR needs to ensure compliance of processes
  • Manage day to day issues, closely work with global colleagues to ensure alignment with the global strategy and projects.
