Description and Requirements

In this role, you will act as a strategic partner for our sales teams in India, reporting to our Head – Sales Operation at Motorola India. The Business Planning & Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive business planning processes, including bottom-up channel and partner forecasting, product development planning, and product mix strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Forecasting and Planning Develop and manage bottom-up channel and partner forecasts (Sales Outlook). Plan product development (PDP) based on sales outlook and ensure alignment through monthly and weekly consensus meetings. Strategize product mix planning, focusing on color and make-to-market (MTM) levels. Monitor stock allocation on a weekly basis to ensure optimal distribution. Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products by coordinating with key stakeholders. Partner and Market Engagement : Regularly engage with planning teams of key partners, both online and offline, to align strategies and objectives. Analyze market opportunities and drive retail enablement. Lead business/channel development initiatives. Online & Offline enablement: Drive retail sales outlook enablement for both online and offline channels. Lead business and channel development projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and market penetration. Data Analysis and Reporting : Utilize MIS and analytics tools. Manage review cadences including ops calls and sales reports.

Experience & Qualifications:

6-8+ years of relevant experience in sales operations, business planning, or financial analysis. Expertise in preparing and delivering presentations. Strong analytical skills for data analysis. Excellent communication skills to present data and strategies effectively.
