Job Description

We are looking for someone to develop and manage Nielsen BASES business and client relationships by designing, selling, executing, and presenting market research studies to meet clients’ research objectives, and are building a talent pipeline for the same. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Consulting:

  • Trusted partner: Understand the client needs, deliver with excellence, make an impact
  • Drive client satisfaction by providing insights and actionable recommendations during presentations or business reviews
  • Attend client planning meetings and contribute by providing Nielsen insights and solutions to the client’s business needs.
  • Communication with mid-level clients on their research queries
  • Able to handle presentations with mid level clients or audiences
  • Crisis management: Able to tackle some of the client communication, particularly with mid-level clients.  
  • Taking ownership of project in terms of client relation as well as consulting / partnering with client through the project life cycle  
  • Ensure all presentations done by reports tell a clear story, provide insights and actionable recommendations  

Project Management:

  • Proactively identify and address client issues and needs.  
  • Ability to understand the proposal and research design in detail and put it to execution with the support teams
  • Ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications while meeting the company's quality standards  
  • Stays in loop on all stages of project management and monitors progress  
  • Understanding of both, offline and online custom market research end to end
  • Ability to handle Operational related queries and able to resolve them with solution oriented and client centric approach

  • Ability to work and collaborate with Internal Stakeholders / Support teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects  / presentations to client

Qualifications
  • A Post graduate degree holder in any disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in Market Research or relevant industry
  • Working knowledge of research techniques and methodologies
  • Good client service skills
  • Ability to communicate and write effectively in English 
  • Project management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint and/or Google Spreadsheet & Slides
