We are seeking : Manager – R&D Techno-Commercial (Product Management), BANGALORE
As Manager – R&D Techno-Commercial, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company . We are looking for an individual with relevant experience in product development, particularly in consumer health/OTC category in India. You will be responsible for execution of product development at third party manufacturing unit and work closely with the Senior management for finalization of product from ideation till commercial. We prefer individuals who are already based out of BANGALORE
Travel required : moderate.
Key Responsibilities :
•   Lab trials with third part manufacturers, execution of stability and commercial batches.
•   Development and finalization of packaging material (Artwork and arrangement of PM from manufacturers).
•   Interaction with Raw material vendors, Packaging material vendors as well as manufacturing site.
•   Interaction with Logistics and warehouse to execute smooth functioning of operations.
•   Work closely with print proofing agency and RM, PM vendors to arrange supplies of RM and PM on time.
•   Smooth execution of commercial batches and ensure 100% compliance to manufacturing and quality process.
•  Collate all the data of manufacturing batches and keep records of same in document repository to ensure smooth resolution of queries and complaints. Understanding of PPIC (Product planning and inventory control).
Desired skillsets :
•   Have worked in OTC/Ayurvedic and food supplement products from development to commercialisation.
•  Good stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate well with 3 rd party manufacturers and vendors of RM and PM.
• Ability to work closely with external partners to get the development done and unsure successful commercialisation.
•   Should be able to help CRO on trials and closure of final prototypes.
•   Need to work closely with 3P manufacturers and get involved fully in production planning and inventory control.
•   Ability to inspect warehouses of distribution partners intermittently for quality check of products.
•   Able to create innovative product pipeline in line with business requirement.
•  Good control and understanding of RM, PM & conversion cost and work on cost saving and cost optimisation initiatives.
Qualifications :
•   B Pharm, M Pharm, MSc with minimum 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing and operations.
•   2-3 years industry experience in FMCG or OTC or AYUSH product operations from development to commercial.
•   Experience of launching at least 3-4 products from development to commercialisation.
•   Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
•   Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
•   Keen observer & fast learner. Hard working and ability to handle multiple products and task at a time.

Mr Himava Nath is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta and has over 25 years of extensive experience in the FMCG & Healthcare industry in India & South East Asia. He was the President & Business Head – India & South Asia for Strides Consumer Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Nikhil Subramanian is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Management Accountant from the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts (UK) and has over 12 years of experience working with large MNCs, startups and promoter driven businesses where he has led FP&A, equity and debt fundraising, handled M&A transactions and post-merger integrations.
During his career he has worked with different types of businesses including Manufacturing, Software, Technology, Retail, F&B and Healthcare businesses and has driven data backed decision making for scaling the growth of these companies including implementation of strong systems, controls and processes.
