The company plans to continue leveraging technology and top tier talent to enhance customer service and offer new product lines and services. ARCHERs core offerings are post-settlement Healthcare Lien Resolution Administration and QSF (Qualified Settlement Fund) Administration and payments processing for multi-claimant (mass tort and class action) litigation. Other services include claims administration, single event lien resolution, probate and bankruptcy coordination, release administration, medical records review, and plaintiff fact sheet and other intake/census preparation and management. ARCHER enables law firms to focus on their litigation while ensuring that critical pre-settlement and post-settlement administration documents, services, business analytics and reporting are handled efficiently and effectively. QSF Accounting is responsible for supervising the accounting and banking operations of all Qualified Settlement Funds as well as maintaining proper documentation on policies and procedures relating to QSF accounting. The position plays a key role in providing outstanding client service by responding timely to internal and external inquiries related to payments, reconciliations and other QSF Accounting processes. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains and enforces a documented system of Accounting policies, procedures and internal safeguards Planning, directing and coordinating all QSF Accounting activities Evaluating accounting and internal control systems within the QSF Accounting group Hire, train and develop team performing payments & audit of QSFs Conduct probation review, performance evaluation of team members in line with company policies Support data migration from QuickBooks to NetSuite in coordination with US counterparts. Develop & publish reporting metrics of KPIs Understand and adhere to all company policies, including but not limited to security, trade secrets and confidentiality of all information PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE Graduation (Bachelors) in Business, Accounting or Finance; Masters degree will be an advantage 6+ years professional hands-on accounting experience, including 2+ years of supervisory experience leading a team of 4-5 individuals Experience with QuickBooks and/or Oracle NetSuite highly preferred Exposure to other popular Accounting applications, such as Tally Experience with Microsoft Office, including excellent Excel skills Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal with problem solving ability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail BEHAVORIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES BEHAVORIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES Positive attitude and high on professional morale Ability to effectively work with cross functional teams Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment Must be multi-task oriented and able to work with frequent interruptions Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.
