Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Quality Assurance:
  • Monitor and inspect manufacturing processes to ensure product compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Conduct in-process and final product audits to detect and resolve quality issues.
  • Validate first article inspections (FAI) and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Maintain and review quality documentation such as inspection procedures, quality records, and test reports.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality standards.
  • Support internal and external audits (customer audits, regulatory inspections, certification bodies).
  • Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis:
  • Investigate non-conformances using tools like 8D, Fishbone, or 5 Whys.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Customer & Supplier Quality:
  • Coordinate with customers regarding quality issues, returns, and complaints (RMA).
  • Monitor supplier quality performance and collaborate with the sourcing team to resolve supplier issues.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Participate in quality improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S).
  • Analyze data and prepare reports to identify trends and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
  • 0-2+ years of QA experience in an EMS or electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or related industry standards.
  • Knowledge of quality tools and techniques (SPC, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans).
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and ERP/MES tools.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
