What Would This Role Entail?
As a Partner Management Associate + Cinematographer in the OCC Coordination Team , you will play a dual role—managing relationships with external media and production partners while also handling cinematography responsibilities for campaign-related content. You will be responsible for coordinating with creative teams, overseeing visual content production, and ensuring high-quality execution of video shoots for political campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Management:
Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with external media partners, production houses, and creative vendors.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of content projects within timelines and budgets.
Negotiate contracts, track deliverables, and ensure alignment with campaign goals.
Work closely with political teams to understand content requirements and relay them to external partners.
Cinematography & Content Production:
Plan and execute high-quality video shoots for campaign content, rallies, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage.
Operate professional camera equipment and ensure proper lighting, framing, and composition.
Work with the post-production team to edit and finalize video content for digital and offline dissemination.
Stay updated with the latest trends in political videography, documentary filmmaking, and campaign storytelling.
Coordination & Execution:
Collaborate with internal teams including strategy, digital media, and content to create impactful campaign visuals.
Ensure content aligns with the political narrative and messaging strategy.
Troubleshoot logistical challenges related to on-ground video production.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 3-6 years in partner management, cinematography, or media production, preferably in political consultancy, news media, or digital content creation.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in professional camera equipment and video production techniques.
Familiarity with editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple media partners, track timelines, and handle content deliverables.
Stakeholder Communication: Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors, political teams, and creative professionals.
Creativity & Attention to Detail: Strong eye for framing, lighting, and visual storytelling in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility & Travel: Willingness to travel for on-ground shoots, rallies, and campaign coverage.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in political campaign cinematography, documentary filmmaking, or election coverage.
Knowledge of Indian political landscape, election dynamics, and voter engagement strategies.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to dynamic campaign requirements.
