The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy individual with a passion for technology and startups to join our team as Startup Marketing Specialist. This role offers the unique opportunity to leverage your digital marketing skills to identify and connect with promising startups, while also shaping the future of emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Scouting & Evaluation:
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify high-potential startups in Generative AI, IoT, AR/VR, Metaverse, Quantum Tech, Robotics, and allied fields.
  • Evaluate startups based on innovative technology, market potential, team expertise, and scalability.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools and techniques to stay ahead of industry trends and discover emerging startups.
  • Build and nurture relationships with startup founders, industry experts, and relevant stakeholders through targeted outreach and networking.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for senior management.
  • Digital Marketing & Content Creation:
  • Develop engaging and informative content (written, video, social media) on emerging technologies aligned with NASSCOM CoE's focus areas.
  • Research and identify relevant topics and trends for content creation that resonates with our target audience.
  • Script, shoot, and edit short explainer videos on emerging technologies (understanding of video editing is a plus).
  • Manage and maintain NASSCOM CoE's social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.


  • Stay Informed:
  • Continuously update your knowledge of emerging technologies by attending industry conferences, webinars, and events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a relevant field, with a focus on emerging technologies.
  • Strong passion and knowledge of emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with startup ecosystems, venture capital, or entrepreneurship is desirable.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills to assess startups' potential and market opportunities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with startups and industry professionals.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying innovative solutions and trends.
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles and tools.
  • Experience with social media management and content creation.
