Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to develop test cases, perform manual and automated testing, and design and implement automated UI/API tests for web applications. You will monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions, ensuring we meet our quality standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with global teams, balancing time zones between India and Australia (Perth) to attend client calls and address production issues.

Main Responsibilities:

-

Test Case Development and Testing:- Develop and review test plans and test cases.- Conduct manual, automation, and performance testing.- Design and implement automated UI/API tests.

Quality Assurance:- Monitor the entire software development lifecycle to identify and resolve issues.

-

Coordination and Communication:- Balance Indian and Australian time zones to coordinate with clients and team members.- Participate in team standups, product review meetings, and weekly meetings.

Automation and CI Integration:- Ensure at least 80% automation coverage of manual test cases.- Integrate automated tests and reports with Continuous Integration (CI).

Key Result Areas:

- Timely delivery of test cases and automated tests on a sprint-to-sprint basis.- Maintain a minimum of 80% automation coverage.- Effective reporting and communication of work and progress.

Required Skill Set:

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C#.- Strong knowledge of test frameworks and hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, RestAssured, and build tools like Gradle/Maven.- Experience with containers and Docker.- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- Familiarity with version control tools (Git/Sourcetree) and issue tracking tools (Jira).- Hands-on experience in Windows/Mobile/Web application testing, particularly web application automation.- Experience in test case development is essential.- Experience in setting up CI and generating test reports with tools like Allure and Extent reports.- Experience or certification in AWS/Azure for testing/automation is a plus.A minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation is preferred.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduated from a premier institute.- B.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech / M.S. in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent degree.- Strong performance in JEE / AIEEE / GATE.
