Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and QA engineers, to define test strategies and create automated test suites.
• Ensure comprehensive automation coverage for functional, regression, and integration tests.
• Identify, track, and report bugs and issues to the development team, and verify fixes.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high standards of test automation.
• Ensure seamless execution of automated tests in various environments, including staging and production.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and improve the automation framework.
• Work closely with product teams to ensure test cases meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation, tools, and frameworks to suggest and implement improvements.

Requirements and Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in software development or service-based testing.
• 2-4 years of experience in test automation within software development or service-based environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with REST API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with cloud environments, especially Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is a plus.
