Job Summary
As a CSR Manager at Tejas Networks Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing corporate social responsibility strategies. You will ensure alignment with the company’s sustainability goals and compliance with regulatory frameworks. This role requires someone with a passion for social impact, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders to deliver impactful CSR initiatives.
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the end-to-end processes of Tejas Networks’ CSR initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing CSR programs that drive social and environmental change, while reinforcing the company’s values and long-term sustainability goals. The role will also involve building relationships with NGOs, monitoring program outcomes, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws such as the Indian Companies Act.
Roles and Responbilities
- Develop and Implement CSR Strategy:
Design and roll out CSR programs in alignment with company policies and national regulations. Identify and evaluate new opportunities for community engagement and social impact.
- Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with internal teams, including senior management, and external partners like NGOs, government bodies, and local communities to ensure the successful execution of CSR projects.
- Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with the provisions of the Indian Companies Act (Schedule VII). Maintain records, generate periodic reports, and ensure transparent communication of the CSR program’s impact.
- Budget Management:
Prepare and manage the CSR budget. Monitor and allocate funds effectively to various initiatives while ensuring financial accountability.
- Program Monitoring & Evaluation:
Conduct regular assessments of CSR projects to evaluate their effectiveness and recommend improvements. Track program progress using relevant metrics and ensure continuous enhancement.
- Employee Engagement:
Drive employee participation in CSR initiatives by designing volunteer programs that align with corporate and social objectives.
- Sustainability Integration:
Collaborate with the sustainability team to ensure CSR programs complement broader sustainability efforts within the company.
- Communication and Advocacy:
Promote CSR activities within and outside the company through reports, presentations, and public relations efforts to enhance Tejas Networks’ reputation as a responsible corporate citizen.
