Role & responsibilities

Lead a team of 3-5 Engineers.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Delegate tasks and set project deadlines and priorities.
• Oversee day-to-day teams' operation and performance.
• Owning the mechanical tasks for all the major equipment or packages in a project assigned.
• Implementing projects technical-contractual requirements into the specification and RFQ
• Reviewing the internal specs with respect to clients specs and internal standards prepared by Equipment Engineers.
• Working with Standards such as ASME, API, DIN, etc.
• Prepare enquiry documents (RFQ), scopes of work, datasheets, etc for valves, pumps and other engineering items with proper selections required for RO desalination projects and bids.
• To prepare technical evaluation and comparison of documents furnished by different manufacturers and get the technical clarity from the vendor independently.
• Technical comparison of the evaluated items for procurement clearance.
• Reviewing the supplier documents (Datasheets and drawings) for manufacturing clearance.
• Understanding the different Mechanical packages in the project and coordinating with technical and procurement department as and when required.
• Taking part in the Commissioning activities of the project for packages he has owned in the project.
• Will be part of a team working on an innovative project, reporting to the department manager in Israel.
• Participation in technical meetings, decision making, preparing MOM and coordination with the local and overseas offices. Administrative:
• Set clear team goals and KRAs for team.
• Monitor team performance and report on metrics through evaluation program.
• Create a healthy and motivating work environment and atmosphere.
• Communicate with teams about their performance.
• Motivate team members.
• Discover training needs and provide coaching/Trainings.
• Listen to team members feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
• Plan and organize team building activities.
