The Company is listed on National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in India.RoleCluster Transport Operation HeadJob Level/ DesignationM3Function / DepartmentTechnology/Transport - OPSLocationIndoreJob PurposeResponsible for Cluster field transport network operationsDeployment responsibility for cluster IP & Optics networkResponsible for field Enterprise feasibility, delivery and assuranceField Repair and replacement & spare managementMTTR & Uptime responsibility for transport network & enterprise servicesTransport site audit , preventive maintenance and correctionsGovernance of MS partners, vendorsKey Result Areas/AccountabilitiesTo maintain and exceed transport Network availabilityMaintain enterprise customer SLAImprove customer experience in transport layer ( latency , packet loss etc)Consolidation of IP/MPLS, DWDM & fiber network and operating modelIP & Optics NMS ConsolidationTransport service engineering for site rollout and consolidationTimely execution of all special initiativesSupport, engage & drive Corp technology strategy initiativesSNOC / Centralization initiatives as per planP&L consciousnessCore Competencies, Knowledge, ExperienceNetwork Operation relevant experience in telecom domainKnowledge of end to end network functionality.Lead change in the network & adapt with new ways of workingStrong understanding of business expectations in liaison with circle teams.Sharp Analytical & Vendor Management skillsSelf-motivated & passionate to work.Must have technical / professional qualificationsBE /BETech, CCNA/CCNPMinimum 15 yrs of exp in Transport operations.Vodafone Idea Limited
