Over past 15+ years, Medanta has created an unrivalled impact in delivering world class multispeciality care to patients in India.


We have hospitals in Gurgaon (Delhi NCR), Lucknow, Patna, Indore & Ranchi, and we will soon be opening our 6th hospital in Noida (Delhi NCR). In addition, we have clinics in Defence Colony (South Delhi), Cybercity, Subhash Chowk (Gurgaon), Golfcourse Road (opening shortly) and at the Delhi Airports.

Medanta is constantly growing its digital healthcare services, launched homecare and has also entered into Retail vertical by setting up lab services (outside hospital) & Retail Pharmacies. We further plan to scale up our existing facilities, expand into few more geographical areas and also identify new avenues within Healthcare eco-system (Medical School)

ABOUT POSITION:

The Head of Content will lead the strategy and development of content for Medanta group. The person will be responsible for creating and curating high-quality content that aligns with the brand philosophy of the organization, communicates its expertise, and enhances engagement trust among our stakeholders. Your role will span strategic planning, team leadership, operational efficiency and analytics.

The role requires a visionary who can combine creativity with data-driven insights to position Medanta as a trusted voice in healthcare


JOB DESCRIPTION


1. Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with mission, goals, and brand phlisophy of Medanta.
  • Create thought leadership content, including whitepapers, research highlights, and interviews with key stakeholders.
  • Identify content pillars that resonate with target audiences, including patients, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the content strategy integrates SEO, user engagement metrics, and emerging trends in digital and healthcare communication


2. Content Creation and Management

  • Hands-on and understands various methods of content creation & delivery through online and offline platforms.
  • Create & optimise high-quality, engaging and relevant content including websites, blogs, videos, newsletters and email.
  • Manages and oversees organization’s social media platforms in regard to content, consumer engagement, services, performance management, and communications (shareholders, investors or any other stakeholder).


3. Team Leadership

  • Build and manage a high-performing content team, including writers, editors, designers, and video producers.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members to ensure excellence in content creation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as marketing, medical specialties, operations to align content efforts that drive traffic, engagement and conversions.


4. Analytics and Reporting

  • Analyze content performance metrics to assess effectiveness and ROI to measure the impact of content initiatives, including engagement rates, traffic, leads, and patient conversions.
  • Generate regular reports with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in content marketing.


ABOUT CANDIDATE:

An ideal candidate will be someone who find himself/herself meeting below traits:


1. Functional

  • Strong in subject matter knowledge, has independently managed Head of Content role as a vertical head with a mid to large-size organization
  • Preference will be for someone who comes from Healthcare or Media house reporting healthcare content
  • Good in managing various stakeholders
  • Skilled in MS Office & other required tools


2. Behavioural

  • Energetic & intelligent individual who pushes the boundaries, provides smart inputs to achieve results within timelines. Possess problem solving mindset, how to manoeuvre and get things done
  • Quickly adapt & understand company, its products and what will it take to convince investors
  • Is a go-getter and passionate to deliver in an ever changing, complex & dynamic environment
  • Is comfortable with ambiguity, demonstrate strong perseverance to achieve results
  • Negotiation and Influencing skills


3.The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, English, Public Relations, International Relations or any other related field
  • Experience of 22+ years in the field of communications, preferably as a Senior Content Editor or Senior Content Marketer
  • Experience as a writer or editor before becoming the head of content will be an added advantage
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills – able to connect with all levels of the company
  • Ability to deliver timely, accurate and trusted results to senior leadership
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
