As the SEO Head, you will manage a team of SEO specialists and work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Content, and Development, to align SEO goals with broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies (on-page and off-page) to enhance organic visibility across global markets.
  • Lead and mentor the SEO team, providing guidance on best practices, performance tracking, and new trends.
  • Perform in-depth keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and align content strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct regular SEO audits to ensure website structure, content, and UX align with SEO best practices.
  • Build and maintain high-quality backlink profiles through effective off-page SEO, including link-building and outreach.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and optimize content calendars, newsletters, and email marketing campaigns to maximize SEO impact.
  • Oversee marketing creatives to ensure alignment with SEO strategies and brand messaging.
  • Work with the content and web development teams to ensure all SEO goals are met, and coordinate on any technical SEO needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry tools to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Analyze competitors and market trends to develop strategies that strengthen our digital presence.
  • Monitor, report, and analyze SEO performance metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure optimization for all technical SEO elements, including mobile responsiveness, page speed, and schema markup.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 7-10 years of proven experience in SEO, with a focus on global SEO strategies and international markets.
  • In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms, SEO ranking factors, and the latest industry tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
  • Strong expertise in on-page and off-page SEO, including technical SEO.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage an SEO team and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Experience with content calendars, newsletter creation, and email marketing strategies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, and e-commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
