ResponsibilitiesHands on experience with AWS and Azure Cloud platformsHands on experience with Windows and Linux OSAutomation of repeatativeAutomate and maintain current automation stacksAutomate deployment of cloud infrastructure and servicesContinue to build on and develop our IaC code using CloudFormation & TerraformAutomate patching & maintenance activitiesEnhance existing cloud services with new ones that bring extra benefit, resolve security vulnerabilities or reduce cost.Design and develop automated solutions to resolve reoccurring problems or repetitive tasksDesign and develop automated solutions to automate reoccurring tasks / builds / set upsDevelop and Maintain Azure Cloud Services in accordance with Security and Standards.Understands and experienced in Rehydration or Immutable Infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform and ARMUnderstands and experience in Configuration Management tools like Ansible or ChefInfrastructure provisioning, configuration and application deployment is completely automated.IaC – Infrastructure as Code. Automation scripts are treated as code; source controlled and versioned. (So being comfortable with GitHub, Linux, python scripting, PowerShell and etc)Be able to troubleshoot issues on the VMs, Windows/Linux Server VMs.Write operational proceduresWork closely with Application/Product ownersRemediate any availability, regulatory or performance-related operational deficiencies;Notify Client of changes to and adoptions of new cloud technology;Remain current in the knowledge and use of cloud technology, virtualization, compute, storage and management products.
Minimum Qualifications / SkillsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Experience in Azure Cloud operationsHands on experience with Azure cloud native servicesHands on experience with Immutable/Rehydration of Azure servicesExperience with Agile and DevOps conceptsStrong communication and written skillsExperience creating technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications/ SkillsHands on experience Managing solutions on AzureKnowledge of security controls for the Public cloud (encryption of data in motion/rest and key management)Linux and Windows OS AdministrationExperience with Open Source Cloud and configuration management tools (Terraform Ansible, etc.)Experience with alternate cloud providers (e.g. AWS)
