Role Description:
As a Junior Procurement Specialist at Vedcore, you will
* Identify target markets and potential buyers.
* Analyze market trends, demand forecasts, and pricing dynamics.
* Monitor market activities and customer preferences.
Identify and onboard new clients (e.g., wholesalers, retailers, food processors).
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key buyers.
* Ensure client satisfaction through regular communication and feedback.
* Negotiate terms of sale, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
* Draft and manage sales contracts, ensuring they comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
* Monitor and address any logistical challenges impacting sales or customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
* Market Research and Analysis - Ability to identify and analyze existing and potential future sources of supply.
* Negotiation and Persuasion - Strong negotiation skills to establish and maintain relationships.
* Problem-solving and Decision-Making - Strong problem-solving skills to address supply chain challenges and make informed decisions.
* Interpersonal Skills - Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers and internal teams. Cultural sensitivity and adaptability when dealing with suppliers from different regions.
Adaptability - Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and supply chain disruptions.
* Travel - Willingness & ability to travel and engage with suppliers on-site as needed.
