Product Managers at Airtel are curious, creative problem solvers who are highly collaborative, live to tackle the hard problems and drive business growth.
At Airtel, the Product team is building the next wave of scalable and robust digital products to meet customers’ needs. We are investing heavily in our digital product ecosystem to deliver delight to our customers and grow the business. We put the customer first and value progress over busy activity. Our product managers are entrepreneurial, hands-on and do what it takes to deliver the product to our 300M customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Vision:
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals.
Work with Product leader to develop strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
Product Development:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, Analytics, CE, and Network teams, to develop and deliver high-quality products.
Create detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Manage the product backlog and ensure timely delivery of product milestones.
Customer Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, gathering feedback and insights to inform product development.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Conduct product demos, training sessions, and customer interviews to ensure product adoption and satisfaction.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
Collaborate with the Customer Experience, Marketing teams to develop go-to-market plans, including product positioning, messaging, and launch strategies.
Monitor product performance and adoption post-launch, making data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement.
Performance Measurement:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and impact on business objectives.
Analyze product usage data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Prepare and present regular product performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.
3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on B2B products.
Strong understanding of the B2B market, customer needs, and industry trends.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
Technical background or experience in software development is a plus.
