Verona was founded by two serial entrepreneurs Mr. Poshak Agrawal and Mr. Rahul Subramaniam, and backed by some of the biggest names in global technology, such as Mr. Michael Novogratz (ex-Fortress Investment Group, CEO of Galaxy Group Investments) & Mr. Rishi Jaitly (ex-Twitter CEO for Asia, Middle East, and Africa).

Security and Science make the basis of Verona where before matchmaking there will be Fintech-grade authentication to ensure fraud detection. Through a deep appreciation for the science of compatibility, with Verona, we will be using AI for matchmaking based on an individual's core & shared values.

Role Brief-

As a Manager - Product Management, you will be overseeing the development and management of our product throughout their life cycle.

  4. Proficiency in product management software and project management tools.
  5. Strong understanding of product life cycle management, agile methodologies and market research techniques

Roles and Responsibilities:

Product Development

  • Drive the development of user-friendly profile creation features, ensuring seamless onboarding for Verona members.
  • Develop feature to enhance user engagement & user retention through the matchmaking journey
  • Enhance and optimize match discovery algorithms to provide personalized and relevant recommendations to users.
  • Champion a user-centric approach to product development, ensuring that the Verona platform delivers a delightful and intuitive experience.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design improvements and usability enhancements.
  • Manage product backlogs, prioritize features, and address technical debt.
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive product-related reports and documentation.
  • Guide and support internal team members on Product Features

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to delivery and ongoing optimization.
  • Implement an agile and adaptive approach to product development, making data-driven decisions and quick adjustments to the product strategy based on evolving market conditions and user feedback.
  • Analyze competitor products and identify areas for differentiation.
  • Conduct market research to study user personae, identify opportunities for new features, and work with the technology team to keep the platforms ahead of the curve.
  • Formulate a comprehensive competitive strategy by continuously assessing competiton products, market dynamics, and customer preferences to position Verona as an industry leader.



Partnership with Marketing, Technology & Relationship Lab

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and relationship scientists, to define and lead seamless execution of product roadmap.
  • Participate in the development and execution of go-to-market plans.
  • Provide strategic leadership to cross-functional teams, aligning everyone with the overarching product strategy and ensuring that each department's efforts contribute cohesively to the product's success.
  • Take an active role in training and developing junior product managers, providing mentorship, and facilitating continuous learning and development opportunities to nurture a high-performing and innovative product team.


Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, preferably from top-tier colleges.
  2. 0-3 years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field.
  3. Experience in high growth consumer tech product will be preferred
  4. Ability to effectively convey business requirement to technology teams

Location/Work Environment

The Vatika Triangle; Gurgaon, India

  • We have built a creative space in a top corporate building in a prime location in Gurgaon
  • The office is on M.G. Road, a 2-minute walk from the M.G. Road Metro Station.
