Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager with extensive experience in the automation industry. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Track and Trace technology, serialization software, and camera-based vision inspection systems . This role will involve driving sales growth, building and nurturing strategic partnerships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets , with a focus on fostering long-term customer relationships through a customer-centric approach and technical acumen .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets in the automation and technology space, with a focus on Track and Trace, serialization software, and vision inspection systems.
  • Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with key customers and stakeholders, understanding their unique requirements and providing customized solutions.
  • Leverage deep industry knowledge to identify new business opportunities and expansion areas within the automation sector.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and technical support, to ensure seamless delivery of client solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to negotiation and closing, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years of sales experience in the automation industry, with specific expertise in Track and Trace technology, serialization software, and camera-based vision inspection systems .
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automation solutions and their applications in industries such as pharmaceuticals, FMCG, manufacturing, and others.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets, with experience in managing complex, high-value sales cycles.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong focus on understanding and addressing client needs, with a proven ability to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Partnership Building: Skilled in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Education: Graduate / bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
