We are a leading manufacturer of Extrusion Blown Film Machines, offering cutting-edge solutions for plastic film production across various industries. Our products are renowned for their durability, precision, and efficiency. We are looking for dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Managers to oversee and manage sales operations in key geographical regions.
Key Responsibilities:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales, managing relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets for their respective regions. The key responsibilities include:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
Identify new business opportunities and drive the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
Promote and sell the company’s Extrusion Blown Film Machines and related products.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the local market, competitors, and customer needs.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and partners.
Provide consultative sales support to customers, ensuring solutions meet their production needs.
Manage customer expectations and ensure satisfaction with products and services.
3. Market Analysis:
Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
Identify potential areas for market growth and proactively address customer demands.
4. Product Knowledge & Technical Support:
Have a deep understanding of the company’s products, features, and benefits to effectively present them to clients.
Work closely with the technical team to address customer technical queries and ensure successful product delivery and installation.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to ensure product performance meets customer expectations.
5. Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and activity reports for management review.
Track sales performance against targets and take corrective actions if needed.
Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs, sales trends, and potential improvements.
6. Team Collaboration & Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, technical, and after-sales support, to deliver seamless customer experiences.
Coordinate with the service team to ensure installation and after-sales service are executed effectively.
7. Regional Marketing & Networking:
Organize and participate in regional trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars to showcase products and strengthen brand presence.
Build a network of key industry contacts, influencers, and decision-makers within the region.
Regional Specific Responsibilities:
North (Region: North India)
Focus on key industrial hubs such as Delhi NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
Target industries like packaging, agriculture, and plastic manufacturers.
Develop relationships with major OEMs and distributors in the northern market.
East (Region: East India)
Develop sales strategies specific to markets in West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Assam, and other eastern states.
Focus on industries such as textiles, food packaging, and construction material packaging.
Target emerging industries with potential for growth in the region.
West (Region: West India)
Primary focus on Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
Target industries such as consumer goods packaging, pharmaceuticals, and food processing.
Focus on industries such as textiles, food packaging, and construction material packaging.
South (Region: South India)
Focus on markets in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala.
Cater to industries such as automotive, textiles, agriculture, and food packaging.
Strengthen relationships with large, regional manufacturers and distributors.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field. A Master's degree (MBA) is preferred but not required.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, preferably in industrial machinery, capital equipment, or plastic processing machinery.
Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Experience in managing regional sales operations and working with a diverse customer base.
Knowledge of extrusion blown film machines or related machinery is highly advantageous.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts.
Strong technical acumen to understand and explain complex machinery and solutions.
Analytical mindset to assess market trends, customer needs, and sales data.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
