Database Engineer

We are currently seeking a Database Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN). Required Qualifications• 8+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications• The Candidate should be willing to work different shifts• Team player with strong analytical and effective communication skills• Sound Experience in any Database like SQL server, Oracle, HDFS• Experience in python, Unix and shell scripting• Experience in cloud migration• Experience/knowledge in GCP and Big query preferred• Should have innovative mindset for process improvements and automations• Zeal to learn and keen interest in learning new things Job Expectations• Plans, analyzes, designs, implements, maintains, and controls the organization's databases• Consults with and provides guidance to database users and client groups, often recommending tactical and strategic solutions• Moderate to complex programming and coding to automate and/or support the database environment; performance monitoring and tuning; analyzing database metrics and assisting with capacity planning• Administer and monitor the environment on regular basis for any issues• Performance tuning systems for better performance• Tune queries and pro-actively suggest improvements• Work with vendors on upgrades and migrations• Basic cloud certification preferred #LI-INPAS About NTT DATA NTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
