SQL Proficiency: - Write and optimize SQL queries. - Develop and maintain stored procedures and database administration scripts. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: - Monitor database health, performance, and availability. - Identify and resolve database issues proactively. Performance Tuning and Optimization: - Analyze database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, scalability, and query speed. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: - Troubleshoot performance problems and analyze data trends for actionable insights. Security and Compliance: - Implement access control, encryption, and other security measures. - Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards. Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with data engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design database solutions. Additional Desired Skills: - Expertise in BigQuery for data warehousing and analytics. - GCP Certifications such as Professional Cloud Database Engineer or other relevant certifications.
